About

Prof. Chikoya has more than 15 years of Neurological Surgery practice at senior level. He also has more than 10 years experience of University Teaching Hospital Management. He served as Deputy Director and Head of Clinical Care of the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), and is a former Chief Executive Officer and Senior Medical Superintendent for Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital (LMUTH) Lusaka, Zambia. Prof. Chikoya is also a Lecturer, Consultant and Head of Unit of Neurosurgery at the same hospital. He is the immediate past Panel Head (Program Director) for Neurosurgery training in the ECSA region of 14 African Countries. He is the Vice President of College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) as well as being the Inaugural and Current Chairperson of the Institutional Review Board of College of Surgeons for East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). Prof. Chikoya is a member of the Editorial Board, East and Central Africa Journal of Surgery.
